-USA: The Watchtower will have a New Shepherd the Flock of God book with revisions every six months to end BOE letter leaks. Instructions have also been issued to all elders that “use of the Index to Letters for Bodies of Elders (S-22) and the letters referenced therein has been discontinued. Any printed or electronic copies of such documents should be destroyed.” Feb. 6, 2019.
-USA: The Watchtower has recently released their WT May, 2019 study edition which features several articles on child abuse, with some minor policies changes. But still doesn't clearly demand elders to automatically report child sexual abuse to authorities. Feb. 6, 2019.
-Canada: The lawsuit against the Watchtower for the child sexual abuse issue has been accepted in Quebec. It can now proceed further. It is a first victory. The lawyers have 30 days to appeal. More details to come. Feb. 27, 2019.
-Canada(Quebec): After a meeting, Pascal Bérubé from the PQ denounces that a "mandate of initiative to examine the possibility that illegal acts are committed with impunity by cultic deviances groups who would invoke freedom of religion" was rejected by the other parties : the CAQ and the PLQ.
