Bethel 'apostate' purge of 1980.

In 1980, dissent arose among members of the Governing Body regarding certain Watchtower doctrines. A witch-hunt led to a series of secret investigations and judicial hearings. Dissenting Bethelites were disfellowshipped and expelled from the Brooklyn headquarters.
