se demander si la théologie des Témoins de Jéhovah sur "l'image de la bête", à savoir l'ONU pourra encore tenir longtemps. Peux-t-on
décrire comme "satanique" un instrument dont on se sert régulièrement pour asseoir ses droits à la liberté de religion?

on peut noter un changement dans l'absence de citations régulières de la prophétie concernant l'ONU: il est devenu rare que les revues
Témoins de Jéhovah évoquent l'ONU en rapport avec la fin des Temps et comme étant l'ennemi de Dieu. De plus quand celà lui arrive,
un leger changement a été noté, ce n'est plus l'ONU qui détruira les religions et se retournera ensuite contre les Témoins de Jéhovah,
mais bien des éléments au sein de l'ONU. [19] Dès lors, assiste-t-on à une amorce de changement sur l'identité de "l'image de la bête"
comme on a pu le vivre dans les années 90 pour le concept de génération ? Si c'était le cas, c'est un point doctrinal central depuis
1919, qui serait remis en cause, bien plus important que le concept de génération qui si l'on suit son historique, a été dans un premier
temps redéfini pour finalement disparaître des revues Témoins de Jéhovah sans être officiellement abandonné.
Un Témoin de Jéhovah
peut-il s'associer, aider ou soutenir l'ONU suivant les écrits du mouvement?
Livre Révélation chapitre 34 page 248:
L’ONU n’a
pas de solutions à proposer. En effet, ce n’est pas Celui qui donne la vie à tous les humains qui l’a fait venir à l’existence. Son
existence sera de courte durée, car, selon le décret de Dieu, “ elle va s’en aller à la destruction ”. Les noms des fondateurs et

L'association Watchtower / Bureau DPI de l'ONU
L'ONU et les organisations non-gouvernementales
Il y a deux types d'associations différentes des Organisations Non Gouvernementales avec l'Organisation
des Nations-Unies:
L'association consultative avec l'ECOSOC (le conseil économique et social). Cette association est définie
par la résolution 1296 de 1968 (Dispositions relatives aux consultations avec les organisations non gouvernementales) modifiée par
la résolution 1996/31 (Relations aux fins de consultations entre l'Organisation des Nations Unies et les organisations non gouvernementales).
Le but de cette association est de débattre de la politique et des orientations de l'ONU.
L'association avec le bureau d'information
de l'ONU (DPI). Cette association est définie par la résolution 1297 de l'ECOSOC qui prend appui sur la résolution 1296 vue ci-dessus.
On peut lire sur le site de l'ONU [1] :
"En 1968, le Conseil économique et social, par la résolution 1297 (XLIV) du 27 mai, a demandé
au Département de l'information d'associer les ONG, en gardant à l'esprit la résolution 1296 (XLIV) du 23 mai 1968, qui stipule qu'une
ONG "...doit s'engager à aider l'Organisation des Nations Unies, dans son oeuvre et à faire connaître les principes et les activités

Le but de cette association est donc de répandre et fournir de l'information positive sur l'ONU et ses réalisations, et de la soutenir

1996 : L’ECOSOC adopte une résolution. Le partenariat entre les ONG ayant le statut consultatif
aupres de l’ECOSOC et l’ONU doit être plus important[4]. Les ONG doivent s’engager encore plus pour promouvoir les actions de l’ONU.

11 septembre 2001 : Après les attentats
sur les Twin Towers, la sécurité est renforcée. Alors qu’auparavant des étudiants et des chercheurs pouvaient obtenir l’accès à la
bibliothèque avec un « pass temporaire », dorénavant seuls les membres de l’ONU et ceux des ONG peuvent y avoir accès [7].
8 octobre
2001 : Stephen BATES, un journaliste du Guardian révèle que les Témoins de Jéhovah sont associés à l’ONU depuis maintenant 10 ans
! [8][9]. Le même jour, la filiale portuguaise répond à un Témoin de Jéhovah qui a lu l'information sur Internet, que cette association
sert à "défendre les droits de nos frères dans des pays où leurs droits sont violés, leur envoyer des soins médicaux, de l'alimentation
et toute autre sorte d'aide." [10]

du Bethel de Londres, répond que Stephen Bates s’est trompé et que c’était pour avoir un accès à la bibliothèque des Nations Unies

Gillies et de son hypocrisie, alors que c’était à lui qu’il avait demandé des informations sans obtenir de réponse, auparavant. Le
fait que l'organisation des Témoins de Jéhovah se soit retirée de l’ONU aussi vite est la preuve, pour lui, qu’elle n’avait pas la
conscience nette [16].
Octobre 2001 : En Caroline du Sud (USA), Ciro AULICIINO (celui qui avait inscrit
1er Novembre 2001 : Une lettre du Bethel de Brooklyn envoyée à toutes les filiales explique que l’association avec l’ONU était nécessaire

w1919 April 1 1919 : During the past few weeks a country-wide agitation hasbeen started in behalf of these brethren, who were not
only given a severe sentence because of their sincerity, but have even been denied bail, pending the appeal of their case. This has
aroused the attention of newspaper editors, Congressmen, Senators and Governors, and many of them have signed petitions for the release
of the Bible Students from prison. As a s~mple of numerous letters which Congressmen have written ia response to letters received
by them, we quote the following from Congressman M. Clyde Kelly of Pennsylvania, received here on March 1: "In response to your letter
of the 25th wiI1 say that I am interested in securing justice for the men in whom you are interested. ] have gone into the case thoroughly
with those who know the situation and am asking for a full report with view to action." Also a letter from Congressman E. W. Saunders
of Virginia has been received, reading as follows: "I am in receipt of your letter relating to the case of the Bible Students now
in confinement at Atlanta. I beg to say that I favor the pardon of these men, and will be very glad join in a recommendation to that
effect. These people are not criminals in the ordinary sense of the word, though they may have been guilty of a technical violation
of the law. But the war is over now, and we ought to try to put it beyond us as rapidly as possible." We have received copy of letter
from Mayor Hlenry W. Kiel of St. Louis, Me., which he has voluntarily addressed to President Wilson, reading as follows: "Allow me
to add my individual request to those already forwarded to you asking that Messrs. Rutherford et ai., of the International Bible Students
Association be admitted to bail pending a final decision of their case in the higher courts, and if possible that pardon be granted
in these cases." Many letters of request for further information and expressing kindly interest in the case of our brethren have been
received from Governors of the various states and other men in public life. Many Congressmen and other officials, state and national,
have signed the petition calling for the release of our President J. F. Rutherford and his seven associates in bonds. Thus a wonderful
witness for the truth is being given through the petition and publicity work. Public men, ordinarily difficult to reach, are showing
much interest in having justice done to our brethren, and also are having their attention drawn to the tmlths for which the brethren
stand.
